Equine Rescue

Like so many, we have experienced numerous occasions where horses and donkeys have helped people in dramatic ways. 

Over time, the Foundation has been honored to be able to assist in supporting numerous horses, donkeys, and mules that were rescued from difficult circumstances. Indeed, most of the Foundation’s resources are dedicated to Equine Rescue work.

Because many of the rescue horses came from very difficult circumstances, they need a lot of medical attention to have the best chance of having happy, healthy, and productive lives. So in addition to funding more routine procedures, the Foundation has also supported more advanced efforts, for example using far infrared blankets, laser therapy, and stem cell therapy.

Separate from on-going support, the Foundation assisted in the purchase and rescue of 13 horses that we understand were headed for slaughter in Canada. 

We look forward to the day when no more horses and donkeys will be exported for slaughter and the day when they will be regarded by all as the amazing beings that they are.    

Our healing practices, including Reiki, can help animals, including of course horses, to improved health. We offer Reiki attunements to people who wish to work on their own animals.
