The Shattered Whole
When we can’t get along with someone, we like to blame it on that person’s faults: Stupidity, incompetence, outrageous behavior, aggression or some other sin against our better senses.
The real reason is none of these. It is that the world is broken, and we are the shattered fragments. What stops us from coming back together? Only that we each imagine ourselves to be whole.
